The Nordic is the top-of-range model: A+++ energy class (SEER 8.50 / SCOP 4.60), Gentle Cool airflow through 1,422 micro-holes, bipolar ionizer with UVC sterilisation lamp, self-cleaning evaporator, iFeel remote sensor and heating guaranteed to −25°C. It comes with a 10-year compressor warranty.

The Pro shares the Gentle Cool, self-cleaning and iFeel features of the Nordic, but at A++ energy class (SEER 6.10). Also includes heating to −25°C and a 10-year compressor warranty. Available in 9,000 and 12,000 BTU.

The Elite is a clean, reliable A++ inverter (SEER 6.10) with Wi-Fi, heating to −25°C, Super Turbo Start and a 10-year compressor warranty. Four capacities: 9,000–24,000 BTU.

The Alpha is the entry-level range: A++ (SEER 6.10–6.70), inverter technology, heating to −15°C (no auxiliary heater in the outdoor unit) and a 5-year compressor warranty. A cost-effective choice for mild climates.

The Gentle Cool (also called Gentle Wind) function is exclusive to the Nordic and Pro series. Instead of directing a concentrated stream of cold air into the room, the horizontal deflectors contain 1,422 tiny micro-holes that scatter the airflow evenly across the entire room — like a gentle, uniform breeze. The result is a room that is cooled evenly without cold draughts or discomfort, even when sitting close to the unit.
Yes. The Nordic includes a bipolar ionizer and a UVC ultraviolet lamp. The ionizer deactivates viruses and bacteria in the air, while the UVC lamp targets their DNA/RNA. Used together, they provide enhanced air purification. The self-cleaning function (4-step process including 56°C high-temperature sterilisation of the evaporator) prevents mould and eliminates odour sources inside the unit itself.
Yes — but the level of cold-weather performance varies by series. The Nordic, Pro, Elite and Yuka all include a built-in electric heater in the outdoor unit. This auxiliary heater activates automatically when outdoor temperatures are low, ensuring the appliance operates reliably at full efficiency down to −25°C. The Alpha series operates in heating mode down to −15°C (no auxiliary outdoor heater). The ETS MAX heat pump also guarantees heating to −25°C and delivers 100% heating power at −7°C.
All Alpin wall-mount and Yuka floor-standing units include a built-in Wi-Fi adapter. The Alpin Smart Life app lets you control the air conditioner from anywhere via your local network or the internet. Features include temperature and mode control, weekly scheduling timers and energy monitoring. We configure the app and Wi-Fi connection as part of our installation service.
The ETS MAX is an air-to-water monoblock heat pump — meaning it heats water (for radiators, underfloor heating or domestic hot water) rather than air directly. It uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant and achieves A+++ energy class at both 35°C and 55°C outlet temperatures. Crucially, it can deliver water up to 80°C, which means it can replace an existing boiler and connect directly to conventional radiators without any upgrade. It is not an air conditioner — it does not cool rooms — but it can completely replace your heating system and reduce heating bills significantly.
Yes. The Alpin multi-split outdoor units (2FMO52HD, 3FMO80HD, 4FMO90HD, 5FMO120HD) are compatible with a mix of Pro wall-mount indoor units (ASW-25/35/50PTTI) and Yuka floor-standing indoor units (ASV-25/35/50YTZI). You can connect 2 to 5 indoor units to a single outdoor unit, choosing different capacities and types to suit each room. Yes. Alpin requires annual maintenance by a qualified technician to keep the 10-year compressor warranty (and the 3-year full appliance warranty) valid. We recommend scheduling a service visit each spring before the summer season begins. We offer maintenance agreements — contact us to find out more.
First, check the troubleshooting section of your operating manual — many error codes indicate simple conditions (e.g. filter cleaning reminder, standby mode, communication reset) that can be cleared by yourself. If the error persists or you cannot find it in the manual, contact us with the model number and the exact error code displayed, and our technical team will advise you.
